Well, since my last entry I have received emails and comments saying that Americans could never take time to Strike from work and driving. In my opinion this idea is as crazy as the fact that Americans are letting their Government dictate how much they pay for everything. If Americans strike and refuse to go to work or drive for a day, two days or even a week it would seriously wake our Government up and realize we are not going to pay the price for their own greed or agenda. This is the only real leverage we as Americans have left. The government has us around the neck strangling us with their policies, corruption and lack of respect for the very people that are providing them the opportunity to be the figure that they are. Yes, Americans would suffer some if we all walked out on our jobs. But the outcome would be far better than the suffering that we are and will continue to deal with. The worst has yet to be seen. Gas prices will increase and in turn will continue to increase the cost of every product Americans buy. EVERY PRODUCT.
United we stand. Remember? Our government is not united with the American people. They are kidding themselves if they think they are. America and it's it's people are in distress because of the decisions that our Government has made. They have not looked out for us because they were to busy looking out for themselves and their corporate friends that were padding their pockets for favors.
Look, I am not naming names or placing blame. I only want us to stand together and tell our Government to either change or we will walk out on them. If we strike and shut our country down what are they going to? Start pointing guns at us and demand us all to work and drive. Maybe, I don't really know but I know that the American people better stop whining and complaining about what is happening and start taking some real action. I am not real sure what a petition is going prove or writing letters to our government officials will do. I only know that voting does not even seem to work anymore because we don't regulate who will run. Heck we don't know who to freaking believe or trust. I do know this. I have voice. the person reading this has a voice and if Americans can take this serious and UNITE we can force our Government to change.
I asked everyone to please leave feedback. Not everyone did. If you have an idea I want to hear it. We need to start figuring out how we are going to get the word out to Americans on UNITING. This is OUR country too. We have all sacrificed something at sometime for our nation to our nation. I know our fore fathers would have never sat back and watched their country die.

be pro active look around what is really happening?i have a great family and i will do everything to keep us as a whole,food prices up, gas prices up,really ,i have fought for my contry and still believe in it....just don't trust my government to a certain extent thought.but emmy what can you do,really,what about the safty of your family when people start to riot,pilaging from home to home for your food,for the lives of your family?get your self and your family an exscape plane that doesnt require gas or electricity!

All these calls to do something are pretty useless until something tangible is decided. Perhaps our boycott could be the first of each month? No driving or working on the first day of each month...may not be noticeable in the beginning, but could catch on and eventually show the impact you are hoping for. The internet community is a very large one. Keep posting and get the word out. Good luck!

The trueth has been spoken. It relies up to the individual to make a choice wether they would rather be a slave, or be productive. Our World Masters lifes can change just as abruptly as our fellow poor. If you want to make a change. I inform you to stop buying products. I am talkin about Everything from a candy bar to a cigarette. The building block of this country is to rely on the ignorant and gluttonous. As you know one person is only a voice. As many are a force. Understand that true fear has definately not been revealed. Let this world continue down its path and it will end in total devestation. For rich shall not be safe and its protection shall not be safe.
This world is for every human not the selected. Unlike most people, i realize what change will take place. Do not lose your heart, for god will give what is deserved.
Well many people are feeling disinfranchised and want to do something to create change but don't know how. You obviously are good at making a blog spot and I found this spot through a message board(that's a beginning). If you wanted to do a strike or walkout it would take a little time to plan, organize and advertise. The 4th of July (independence day)is coming soon maybe you could synchronise your event around that time frame. If you want people to join in then advertise the time, date and places for rallys or protests. Make sure you get permits and discuss the events on this blog. Make sure to advertise your blogspot wherever possible and advertise to the media. If this is to become a big event the media will probably do it as a story so then you will have free advertising and you could advertise your blogspot and the details of the event. I don't know who to ask but I watch CNN and noticed Lou Dobbs is an independent who is fed up too, maybe you could email him through CNN and see if he'd interview you about your frustration and future event(s). At any rate, you're not alone in your frustration and "we the people" want to be heard we just need an organizer and spot to talk about it. You provided step one.
